2 weeks ago…but updated 2 weeks later =_="

Being absent from my “part-time job as a blogger without any income” =_=” …for almost 2 weeks without any updates…so,in order to make up for my sudden M.I.A in the world of blogging(not really though cuz I read other people’s blog)…here’s just a small summary of what happened…

17th September:

It was the first day of resuming back to University life…and also the day where some of our fellow classmates depart to UK for studies…During the day, attending classes…but by night, went to KLIA to send em’ off…

Ah Tuck(3rd from the Right) is leaving…This picture is also to show Ah Tuck’s cute younger sister…lols =P

She’s the one in dark army green shirt…any resemblance to Ah Tuck? Hmmm…

Big-big group picture…

Take care guys&gals =)

That’s all…didn’t really took many pictures for that night…

21st September:

Since it’s still within the 1st week of studies…time table schedule seems reasonably free…the “busy period” haven’t arrive yet…was invited to a birthday party…so attend aje…no need to think so long to decide(the thinking part is needed when I went birthday present-hunting)…

Fellow secondary school,DJ(Damansara Jaya) group picture…

Doesn’t take too long to spot who’s birthday is it,no?
Happy Birthday Pui Yen…21 years old already!!! =)

I guess some of you would be going…“What…another birthday event again?!!” Hehe…

24th September:

Mid-Autumn Festival at TTS5…although the “play lantern&eat mooncake” day is supposedly to be the following day,we were just too excited and decided to celebrate it earlier? Lols…

Lighting up the lanterns…

And hanging em’ up…on a clothesline? =_=”

Also ber-posing with the lanterns…

Miss Lantern…also our Miss Mid-Autumn 2007 winner? Cuz there were no other contestants? Lols…

Don’t forget to watch your back…

=_=”

The not-so-full moon…

Makan-makan…minum-minum…

Daniel who is joining our class for this year via UK mobility scheme, might had second thoughts…after trying Durian flavoured Mooncake(yes, someone actually brought one =_=” )…but of course,we told(or warned?) him beforehand…poor fella, hehe…plus points for bravery, though

Mini mooncake made by Hui Jiun

Cute small bite-sized…taste good too =D

Colourful lanterns…

Towards the end…only a few lanterns “survived”…as the candles melted away…burning some holes on the lantern =_=”

Spent the next few days eating leftover/extra mooncakes…lols…no more please, haha…

Guess that kinda sums up everything for the past 2 weeks…actually,I wanna post one more entry(in a way to make up for the lack of updates?),but time isn’t on my side…gonna go back to Semenyih in a few hours time and wouldn’t be coming back this weekend…probably would update there, depending on whether I am free or not…also the availability of internet connection(more concerned about the connection speed) as well…

That’s All Folks!!! =P

Returning to “Jungleland” for Studies… =_=”

Holidays has come to an end…and it’s time to resume back studies in UNiM…Hurray ^_^ !!! and Boo =_=” !!!(Depending on each individual’s point of view…hehe). Well, one could self-proclaim their own holidays…as long as they want…in fact, forever also can…make sure you have enough money to sustain your life lah…termed as the cost of living =_=”

So,it’s also the time where my brain is supposed to be shifted in gear for academic studies…I was quite stun/shocked while I was watching anime, there was a certain school scene where a complex number equation were being shown, lols(at least I manage to identify that it has complex numbers in it though =_=” )…biological clock needs adjustment and fine-tuning…time to pick up a pen(which feels quite alien-ish,since these hands had been accustomed to the usage of keyboard,TV remote control,PS2 controller, mobile phone, etc…) and write neat “acceptable speed” words(wasn’t able to do so,during some peculiar odd moments last time…Doctor’s handwriting+speeding like a snail)

Although, this is kinda like a situation where a civilian is suddenly thrown into the hands of the military for combat purposes…nevertheless, things will of course be back to normal…it just takes some “time to get used to” sessions =_=”

All I can say for now is…Welcome back to UNiM!!!(or Hell? =_=” )

Partially packed stuff to be brought over to rented house in Semenyih

Or izzit more like pre-packed stuff cuz I just left em’ lying in my room, after I moved my stuff out from the previous rented house in Semenyih…some time ago =_=” Well,I just wiped off some dust and sorted out my lecture notes/courseworks/pass year papers into boxes(too lazy to sort into folders/binders)…in case of fire, just carry the boxes,no? =_=” Moving these stuff to the new rented house tomorrow…

Ok…moving on to happy-happy-joy-joy stuff…

Celebrated Yau Fee&Li-Ann’s birthday(pre-celebration)…at Green Box,Jusco Cheras Selatan…kinda odd to celebrate in a karaoke outlet, haha(first time witnessing)…Did I sang? Nah,I am just merely a spectator and photographer…as the others enjoy themselves…

Alright,I admit…I sang…Birthday Song only…lols =P

Get the dates right…Yau Fee’s birthday is actually today(15th September) and our perfect-timing “came just in time into the karaoke room while the Birthday Song is being sung”,Li-Ann,is actually tomorrow(16th September)

Oh…here’s the results for the RapidKL bus service lucky draw thingy(month of August)…after this,no more already…Dunno what the heck am I talking about? Just click here and here, for older posts regarding this matter…or just visit their website,http://www.rapidkl.com.my/

In the end…Lady Luck isn’t on my side again…haha =P Can dispose all of the “lottery bus tickets” now…lols

That’s the end for this post…nothing much to be updated about, hehe…as University life returns,I’ll be stuck in Semenyih on weekdays and would be back home on weekends…that is,provided if not too busy/hectic ler…internet and newspapers would be sorely missed, lols…not forgetting friends as well of course(as some fellow classmates would be departing to UK) =P

Last but not least…some pictures to quench your thirst…with saliva, haha…

Thick French Toast

Just look at the reflection of the syrup…

A closer look…superimposed big-big picture…lols =D

Evil me…making ya’ll hungry…and myself as well
D’Oh!!! =_=”

Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya: Part 3,Jump Like Fireworks? =_=”

Haha…finally the last part of the trilogy post of the fireworks competition at Putrajaya =P After the event was over…we stayed back for a little while, awaiting for the traffic to clear up as people rushed back home…meaning more photo-taking session, hehe…

Group picture…

From Left to Right: ME,Yean Yen,Pek Wee and Yau Fee
I’ve just only noticed that everyone was wearing white…lols

Suddenly…we felt like jumping/flying up in the air…like the fireworks

Oh…haha…I’ve also noticed that I don’t have any jumping pictures in my blog…so this is the first ever jumping picture in this blog, hehe…unlike jumping blogger,SmashpOp who has numerous…

Ironically…we went there without any umbrella and…came back with 2 instead…sangat kasihan looking at the umbrellas which got left behind,so we “adopted” em’ back…lols

Ber-posing with umbrella…

Still Waiting for You…

More ber-posing with umbrella…

Both of Us Waiting for What/Who?” =_=”

Ber-jumping with umbrella…

Scary leh? Lols =_=”

With our two “adopted posers”…we went back to Yean Yen’s place to stay the night and the following day,off to quiet ol’ Semenyih…to clean-up TTS5 rented house for the coming semester…Yup,I’ve moved to another rented house again…this is already the 3rd house…why leh? Cuz I listen to my Feng Shui master’s advice to always move into a new house for every hole that appears on my shirt =_=” Lols…actually it’s a house with a better offer…When the front door was open,OMG!!! I thought I had stepped into the headquarters of DBKL(figure of speech),rubbish everywhere …For now,I’ll leave this for another future post, hehe…

The highlight of the day…

Someone’s birthday of course…aikz cake kena potong already =P

Happy Birthday to Pek Wee…by now it’s belated lah of course(no thanks to this blogger who updates late wan…) =P

Picture courtesy from Yau Fee…as my camera kehabisan battery from yesterday’s firework-ing,posing,jumping,etc…picture-taking session

To conclude this post…view food and random pictures, hehe…

Another visit to fushion-ised Japanese restaurant,Sushi Groove and 2 more sushi’s on my “dah cuba/makan” list(click here for previous visit)

Flying Fish RoeRM11.90…crunchy roll with fresh tuna&unagi…topped with sweet&spicy sauce…once eaten, can fly/jump higher…not bad,I like the crunchiness once it is inserted into the mouth =D

Fusion Dragon RollRM14.90

Marinated salmon,shrimp tempura&beef roll…Looks artistic with a “dragon’s head” as a finishing touch…tasted ok-ok only,I prefer the Flying Fish Roe though
Fly like a fish,not like a “dragon”!!! =_=”

Advertisement time…

POCKY Chocolate Sticks…once eaten,you’ll feel very macho and “man-ly” ; P

As for the ladies…

Spotted in 1 UtamaMarie France Bodyline offering UNLIMITED slimming sessions for RM999!!! Now you can go for as many times as you like…until your ideally desired body dream figure is achieved!!!
P.S. Terms&Conditions Apply…check first!!! I’ll not be responsible/liable for your actions, like kena con, body turned out too slim, appear in Marie France Bodyline newspaper advertisements under the “Before” part(or it’s a good thing cuz appeared in newspaper? =P ),etc…

Take care everyone!!! More updates to come…if possible, hehe =P

Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya: Part 2,Boom-Boom in the Skies

Aha!!! A post which doesn’t require “much” reading…just need to use your eyes to view pictures of the same object, over and over again, lols =_=”

At 10pm…thank goodness the rain had stopped…lights on the bridge(closer to PICC) were switched off…a signal, that the fireworks show is about to begin shortly…30 minutes of showmanship…

Armed with my digital camera and tripod(didn’t knew I had one at home…found it as I was kaypo-ing in the store room, hehe =P )…for here,I showcase my amateur/noob-ness of fireworks photographing…first time leh,apa boleh buat…hehe =_=”

So I’ll just upload a few ones which turn out nice…others are almost the same or were blur or badly taken of course, hehe…

The beginning…

Colourful!!! But picture poorly taken…timing should had been earlier, which is when it is just about to explode…

Zoomed-in too close…cuz I didn’t expect that this firework would be that huge…

Fireworks for Hari Raya?!!

This time it’s for Chinese New Year?!! =_=”

Here’s a few vertical pictures…from Yau Fee’s camera…I know you’re bored looking at my horizontally-taken pictures with the darkened sky =_=”

Which looked very nice, with the coloured-reflection on the lake…accompanied by the silhouette of the hill where the fireworks were being launched from…showing everything that is going on…in a single picture…if only a better camera is being used, hehe =P

Experience of a Noob-Cheese in Fireworks Photography:

The difficult part(for me),is the timing of the shutter being pressed when the fireworks are up in the air…at first I used 2 seconds timer(afraid that when I press the shutter normally as Single Shots, the camera might shake a bit and produce blurry pictures…no,I don’t have a remote shutter),which means I gotta anticipate the fireworks explosion,2 seconds before it happens…which needed a bit of luck too, hehe =_=”

After a few attempts of “2 seconds lag” shots…I’ve decided to revert back to Single Shots…carefully pressing the shutter for every shot…and clever Yau Fee did a few shots with Burst Shots(for every press of the shutter…3 pictures are taken consecutively),so just gotta have a rough timing to press the shutter and hope that one or more, out of the 3 taken pictures turns out nice…why didn’t I think of that?!! =_=”

And there are the “char-tou” moments…whenever I zoomed-in for a close-up shot, suddenly a super big firework exploded, out of the vicinity of my camera screen =_=” or when after every shot,my camera would need to show the “Busy” sign(like warming-up for the next shot…since the other fancy-fancy functions are switched on,for night+fireworks shot) and BOOM,goes another nice firework shot being wasted cuz my camera is “Busy”…it seems =_=” Unlike some DSLR users who are “shooting” the fireworks like a modernised machinegun(I could hear the fast shutter clicking sounds)…mine is like those super old rifles being used during World War era =_=” Lols…ok-ok,not that old ler…my camera is more for leisure picture-taking(not professional enough to use a DSLR…or not enough money to buy one yet? =_=” )…click here to view my one and only digital camera(unless my handphone,SE k750i is counted as well?)

Sorry for trying to sound so technical…guess I cant explain that well or in simpler terms?(Or maybe no one actually understood what I had been blabbering about =_=” ) Hehe…anyways, things like these are all about trial&error…experimentation…experience need to be build up…so,I’ve gotta try again and improve as well…knowing that I am just at the “foot of the hill” before I had even attempted to “climb/trek the hill”,I must not give up easily…even the professional ones may falter(or perhaps not, since they are so pro already? =_=” ) Any tips or comments…please feel free to share…I am willing to learn ; )

I should be gazing and enjoying the fireworks in the air…not constantly looking at my camera screen just to know that the pictures turned out lousy after every shot, lols =_=” Next time don’t wanna bring camera anymore…hahaha =P Fireworks must be COLOURFUL and BIG in order to get people going “oohh-ahhh”!!!

Is this the end?!! Nope…still got Part 3

To be continued…Haha =P

Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya: Part 1,Before the Colourful&Noisy Skies

Waiting eagerly for a new post,no? So had I…waiting eagerly to find something to be updated about, lols…But it comes as a “3 parts kinda potong-stim” post =P Hehe…anyways, here it is!!!

As a person who keeps to his words…finally finished my part-time work at Jacks Place, after working there for 2 months…ending on the 31st of August had never felt any better, hehe…no,you cant see me working there anymore(although you could see some ridiculous stuff of an old post regarding work…click here)

What better way to “celebrate”,than to hop aboard a car with a bunch of friends…

…and drive all the way to…

Hmmm…guess where are we headed to? Actually there is no need to guess…the title of the post gave away the answer =_=”

We’ve decided to go and see the fireworks competition held at Putrajaya…on the 2nd of September(finale)…I had never seen actual fireworks for quite some time already, kinda sad case? Haha…and it was raining as we were on the way…unfortunately, there wasn’t a single umbrella in the car too =_=” Reached there early to get a good spot to view…but sat in the car, waiting for the rain to stop isn’t helping, lols =_=”

Anyways, when the rain started to stop(slight drizzle)…went out and took a few pictures while waiting for the fireworks display to begin…

This is the Seri Gemilang Bridge

And here’s PICC(Putrajaya International Convention Centre)

Where those who paid for the show will be viewing the fireworks from…

Spectators waiting under the rain…

Being kiasu, just stand at someplace and view it for free lah(all tickets had already been sold out anyways >=P so in a way,no choice leh…haha)

Waiting…waiting…waiting…Where’s the fireworks?!!

To be continued…LOLS =_=”

A bit potong-stim,no? Hehe…well at first I just wanna just dump everything into one post…but I think it’ll be quite too overwhelming…so just wait for Part 2 then =P

In the mean time, here’s some random pictures from my handphone…to ease the “potong-stim” part a bit =_=”

In the restaurant which I “previously” worked in…

Who’s birthday is it? The Boy-Boy? Father? Mother? The other jealous Boy-Boy who got mistreated? =_=”

Meet Mr. Jack

…the mascot for Jacks Place?

TRANSFORMED into…

Haji Jack?!!(Haji: An Islamic Honorific)…To show that this place is halal? =_=”

On Merdeka Eve…as I was waiting for the last bus back home after work

A group of young patriotic Mat Rempits wannabe…assembled before midnight

Check out this fella’s “modified ride”…

It has a motorcycle’s backlight…P license included too =_=”

On a side note…how did I celebrated Independence Day when the clock struck 12? Stuck in the bus due to traffic jam…I thought if I was stuck in the traffic congestion, could at least catch a glimpse of the fireworks at Ikano Power Centre/The Curve from behind the window, seated in the air-conditioned bus…but apparently, the geographical position for the bus to be stuck was beneath the bridged part joining the old and new wing of 1 Utama!!! So only listened to the radio, where our Prime Minister gave a speech followed by MERDEKA exclamations =_=” Heck…last bus 11.30pm,reached home 1.30am!!! =_=”

Next,Part 2 post will have fireworks pictures…lols =P
