Another “typical” week again?!! Lols…

Nothing much going on lately…hehe,so I am gonna just do a “mini-update” by uploading all these pictures from my handphone…pictures were all taken last week…you may find some of them quite “fascinating”(as though)…

Hmmm…most of em’ are pictures of food though…sorry ler,not taken with utmost “professionalism”…haha, limited to a cameraphone only =P Probably this post is aimed for those who are studying elsewhere,UK,Australia, etc…hehe

Introducing the affordable Pan Mee that can only be found in Broga…a small area nearby my University

Usually(means last time) we would come here to eat for lunch…when we are sick of eating in the cafeteria everyday(overpriced some more!!!),provided got transportation ler…hehe,so this is the first time ever I had the opportunity to savour the taste of Broga’s Pan Mee again after a long summer break…brings back memories…

In Kajang,there is a restaurant called…

Restoran Yus(in Malay ler, hehe)…or just call the place Yus

This is not a Mamak…cuz I don’t see a single worker who is your typical Indian fella serving you blurly…came here for supper on one of those nights, where some of us just felt like going to a Mamak outlet(we usually go to our other regular Mamak…called Suren)

This…my friend,is just a Roti Pisang and Teh Tarik…in case you cant tell from the picture above =P Anyone for Mamak-ing in the UK? Lols

Since this place is “governed” mostly by Malay workers…

Why is there a picture of this there?!! Hmmm…probably a gift from some Chinese fella or perhaps the boss is Chinese?!! Trying not to be racist…here, please don’t take things too seriously =)

Here is a typical plate of Chicken Rice that can be found anywhere else outside…

Damn…the price of chicken rice that had been escalated recently(means quite some time already)…yet so little pieces of chicken only >=(

And here…is TTS5’s Home-made Chicken Rice!!!

Ok-ok…it doesn’t really look like your typical chicken rice that you had been eating all along…this is an attempt for us topple over those fancy-pancy The Chicken Rice Shop outlets…needs some fine-tuning though >=P Lols…but seriously, the rice is “our secret recipe” of chicken rice…tasted a bit bland cuz not enough “secret ingredient” =P

After eating…we saw this…

What do you think this looks like? Hehe…a reminiscent of the banana tree with a “face” in Kepala Batas,Penang that sparked sightings =P

Last but not least…a picture which has nothing to do with food…had to “support”(in order words, buy =P ) from Nottingham’s Pharmacy students…

Support breast cancer awareness!!!(by now,the campaign already passed =P ) A symbol of a pink ribbon that portrays this silent yet deadly “illness”…so better be careful, physically exercise “it” often and consult doctors to prevent yourself to be a victim…this message goes to guys too…1% of the male population might get breast cancer too…yikes,scary…1%!!! Lols…prevention is better than cure ; )

I guess that’s all folks…things had been going “slow”,so don’t expect any sort of spectacular update, haha…just mediocre stuff such as this…Take care ya’ll!!! =)

Just another “typical” week in Semenyih…

Yup…another week had passed since the beginning of the 2nd Year of University life as a student…this marks the 3rd week and still so far everything had been kinda on the OK level to me…no exams/tests/courseworks/lab sessions just yet…but I feel its coming soon…(my big mouth had uttered too soon…lab sessions will begin the coming week as well with a few courseworks <= / heh…)…I had been keeping up to date with my studies this time(haha, yeah!!!),which means so far nothing had been left neglected till the last minute…yet…bersemangat siut~~~ >=P Of course, all study and no play makes Cheese a sad errrr…Cheese…so maintained a balance of “play stuff” too(watching anime, playing sports, cooking counted? etc…)

Oh and this time around…I had fortunately/unfortunately been nominated and moments after that…confined within the campus’s Great Hall(dunno what’s so “great” about the hall anyways)…an election was held for the positions of President,Vice-President,Secretary,Treasurer and Committee Members(8 members are voted where else 2 are chosen by lecturers,so by using simple Mathematics,10 members in total labeled as Committee Members =P ),for a particular society that all Chemical Engineering students were “automatically members”…not really forced…in a way…the voting process ensured and when it was time for me to step up on stage,to the microphone to say a few words…to amuse others with my corny-lame-crap line that I thought up roughly 10 seconds before…

“If you think it is wise…vote for me…if you think it isn’t wise to do so…then don’t”

Resulting from that,I am now one of the Committee Members for that society known as…CheSS,stands for Chemical Engineering Student Society(malu-lah if become a Committee Member and yet doesn’t know what it stands for =P )…which is rather confusing for being mistaken as a society that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual game of CHESS itself…I think some of them misheard me quoting, somewhere along the lines,“If you are wise…vote for me” instead,so I guess those who voted for me are wise people indeed, haha =P Activities and future plannings will be coming soon…

Ok…it is now time for random pictures that were taken throughout the week, which I felt like posting up…

I’ve got ANIMALS…

A froggy manage to jump(climb?) its way to quite a high spot on the grills of our front door in TTS5

These are the infamous duckies that lived on the waters of our man-made lake in the campus grounds…if UK got ducks, the Nottingham University Campus in Malaysia also got!!! The population of these quackers doesn’t increase nor decrease though…

I’ve got FOOD STUFF…

Decided to have dinner outside for a change on one of the days…went to Rocteam in Kajang…this is the proof, haha…Cheese Ham Chicken Chop!!! I think I had always been ordering this dish whenever I am there…there is a Sizzling Hot Plate version too(ordered once before)…but with an additional RM2 increase in price to feel da sizzle’ >=P Hehe, this place brings back old memories from last year…those who know…will understand ; )

Have anyone seen this before? The first time I saw it was in Shogun(1 Utama) and now its in the University’s cafeteria? A machine that makes mashed potatoes from the masters who made instant noodles,MAGGI? Just press the button and SPLAT(I’ll let your imagination do the thinking of what this sound refers to…),out it comes…mashed potatoes that is being charged for RM2(the size is like KFC’s take-away mini container…not the Variety Bucket size)…so not worth the money being spent like that…coursemates that are currently in UK will puke after seeing potatoes again…hehe =P

And finally,I’ve got an ADVERTISEMENT…

YAM SENG!!! 4 out of 5 will choose to buy that “blue sparkling juice that I cant remember what its called nor the brand name”(but I remembered it tasted like medicine though >_< ) Suppose to be drank for house-warming…

Tune in to next week…if I feel like updating or if there is anything to be updated, hehe =P (which would be a pointless post such as this) Oh,I’ve changed my Tagboard to CBox cuz Tagboard encountered some problems(which I’ve only noticed it on Friday,so I won’t be able to view any recent post that were tagged before it went haywire…much apologies to those who left me a message)…can even view back older posts if anyone missed any replies from me or anyone else…its yellow-ish,cheese coloured(but not cheese flavoured though) =D Wake me up,when September ends…oh,it ended already? Damn… =_=”

Enter the House(TTS5)…

After viewing the outdoor of the “jungle themed” TTS5 house…its time to set foot upon the concrete structure that stands tall “urban-ly” within that rural area…intended to show those who haven’t had the “chance” to visit/take a look around the place…its like visiting the White House in Washington DC =P

Come-come…welcome Sir…welcome Madam…please take off your shoes and watch your step…A brief tour around the house ensures that you’ll be satisfied with it…(suppose to sound like a House Estate Agent =P )

Upon entering the furnished house…first thing that you’ll see is the living room area…comfy sofa…TV set(small but “viewable”)…Oh and the remote on the table is often mistaken for the TV remote…its actually a remote for the ceiling fan(haha, modern leh? =P )…hehe, the puzzled look on the faces who pressed the buttons on the remote while pointing towards the TV…priceless… >=P

Eh? Sir&Madam…already hungry? No worries…a kitchen is available to satisfy your hunger pangs…looks kinda messy a bit…which means that the kitchen is put into good use frequently =)

The humble glass table…where meals are served…not particularly suitable for playing card games where if you had to place your cards facing downwards =P

TADAAA~~~ Advertisement of a joyous dinner(the 1st official day in TTS5)…among the occupants&guests(referencing by colours)…From Left to Right: Eddie,Kae Shin,Qianhui,Wee Kiat,Wilson,Pin Pin and Douglas…I was the cameraman =P

So Sir/Madam…what do you think? Oh you are ready to settle/close the business/deal? Huh? Oh you mean you want to do “business” izzit? Here-here…the toilet is here…when you feel “tense”,you can look at the little green plant to “soothe” yourself =P

Must’ve felt really tired by now,no? Feel free to rest in the “guest room”(actually, its MY ROOM!!! >=P lols, sharing with Wilson)…a small single bed…cupboard…

A mini table with all the necessary/unnecessary stuff(suppose to have 2 tables, one more coming soon)…oh and I have a personal robot(the one on the right)…looks like something that came out from a Star Wars movie,eh? Its actually some sort of fan where you can put ice cubes inside of it to blow cold air out…like those mist fans, but less powerful…Dang, and I thought I really had my very own Doraemon =P

Well Sir/Madam…that’s the end of the “tour”(downstairs only, upstairs restricted area =P )…Oh,you’ll think about it whether want to buy this house or not? Apparently,I have bad news for you Sir/Madam…while you were dilly-dallying deciding to buy or not…this house had already been rented out already(by us that is,haha >=P )…Goodbye and have a nice day =)

Hmmm…how do we normally go to Campus? Its actually a stone throw’s away…within walking distance, about 10 minutes(or less) will do…towards a bridge that was just newly built which connects the Campus to this housing area…considering that 4 of us don’t have a car(only Wee Kiat drives)…

Alternatively,we could use these though…it belongs to the house owner’s children…Bicycle&Tricycle Biker Gang!!! VRROOOMMM…BENG-BENG-BENG-BENG… =_=”

House of TTS5…

Last week,on Registration Day,I had to go all the way back to Semenyih in order to make a payment for my course of study for the 2nd Year…So after making the payment,I had to let them check the validity of my Student ID and be told to come back in about a few hours time…since I’ve already had lunch…went to my rented house in TTS5 to unload some of the stuff that I brought along…

After unloading the stuff…and the weather seemed fine on that day…I took some time to snap some pictures of the house,so here’s a “Grand Tour” of the place…

First,a frontal view of the house…

Looks very green-ey…compared to the previous house I stayed in TTS2,which is sort of like a desert with weeds a.k.a lalang >=P (Click here to view the previous house)…looking at the 2 trees kinda reminds me of Beverly Hills =P This is sort of like a “family home” cuz the owner stayed here before he moved out elsewhere, thus renting it to us…Note: Car not included with the house =P

It is so green

…that even the post box is covered mostly with green “crawling plant thingy” =P Barely can see the house number…Oh,visitors can opt for either the modern “Automatic” doorbell or the old-school “Manual” bell that goes KLING-KLING instead of DING-DONG…which can be confused for the ice-cream man =P

As you enter the house…look to your left…

Colouful-looking plants…well,it’s a garden, what else do you expect? No candy growing on trees cuz this ain’t Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory…MMMmmm…candies&chocolates =P

Now…look to your right…

More garden-ey stuff to be viewed…got nice grass to roll around or perhaps a round of miniature golf? Hmmm…come to think of it,the miniature golf sure sounds like a good idea…haha, that is if the house belongs to me =P

Looky here…a path to the back of the house…

Follow…follow…follow…Aiyak!!! Got bitten by ants…*cursing words*…STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! Ants died…Follow…follow…follow…

Lotsa trees…

Among all these trees…there are papaya and banana trees(we ate some papaya during this week though, which were plucked from the tree)…still bearing its fruits…the bad thing is that the house is constantly littered with ants outdoors and indoors…due to all these grassy areas ler… >=(

Look what we have here…growing among the trees within the back area of the house…

A huge 4-angled bean that I’ve seen in my life!!! Damn big…but don’t dare to try eating it…haha, aftwerwards got some mutation...a “part” of my body would look like this? Hmmm… =_=”

Back to the garden we go…near the grass area…

There is a pond…it is not a swimming pool… =_=”

If it were a swimming pool…it is meant for fishes to swim in it…why couldn’t see any fishes in the previous picture? Well…

…the fishies shy-shy mar…so must throw fish food inside as bait to lure them out…you hungry fools…Mwahahaha >=P

So that’s the outdoor part of the house…end of the tour…huh? You wanna see the interior? Well, sad to say this but…that will have to wait for the next post…haha(inside quite messy,so wait until the apporiate time comes for me to continue the “tour” =P )…Let me just end this post with this last picture…

When I woke up in the morning today and gazed into the mirror…I saw…

Who the heck is this?!! >=P
