Post-Happy Chinese New Year…

First of all…yes-yes,its still Chinese New Year…but this post is sort of after the whole one week of holidays =P Excuse me for the lack of update…wasn’t in the mood to do any during that time and also most of the time I am at home…Anyways,here’s a bunch of pictures to be posted up…like picking a few to be compiled into a scrapbook,hehe…


Ushering the…Year of the Pig…Oink-Oink…warning,not-Halal

“Year of the Boar” sounded more macho…but “Year of the Pig” sounds cute =P


Reunion Dinner was on a Saturday(17th February 2007)…most of the pictures on that night wasn’t shot by me…too lazy to do so =P My mum went photo-snapping away then…

And here’s the super colourful Yee Sang…sort of an unhealthy version of a salad =P

And of course…after taking a look at it a very-very-very long time…

One just feels the sudden urge to “me-rojak-kan” the neatly arranged starter meal

At the end of it all…time for one big family picture…so the bigger one’s digital camera screen is,the better it is to capture everyone in one shot…or else might have to take panorama picture =P

On the 20th February 2007(Tuesday),time for some house-visiting…eating cookies like gluttons and collecting Ang Pows like Triad Members/loan-sharks…

And of course,a friendly game of Mahjong wouldn’t hurt either…no gambling involved,or else surely “pokai” for amateurs like me =P

Decided to post up this picture of Lik Yang’s house…sort of a dedication since he returned to Australia for studies

And also…this “super jeng” pose for auditioning to be part of the Sesame Street TV programme…now all your kids will know how to count from 0 to 8…sorry-lah,no number 9 and onwards due to limited number of participants/employees =P

Jien Eu’s house at Bandar Utama…very empty…lols,ok-ok try not to sound so negative = ( be positive-thinking instead…very spacious =)

It is so spacious…that we could find a nice wall to take a picture,haha…see,positive-thinking being implemented =) His place was the “photo studio”…quite a number of pictures taken there…in other words…cam-whoring =P

And last but not least…must include MY own house also-lah…lols…but apparently,picture had to be taken outside,as the interior was crowded with my parent’s guests

Actually,there are many more pictures taken in the other houses which we visited…but I guess everyone will be bored looking at the same people in the same pictures again and again,although in different venues…so I’ve only uploaded these few “candid” photos…no offense if your house isn’t featured here,ya? Haha…a recent addition to the family…my dad just bought it today from some store having a stock clearance,50% off on all items…

Move aside Monopoly and Scrabbles…here comes the mighty Mahjong…lols =P

Now…to do some packing and trying to finish up my lab report…back to “Jungle-land” I go…see ya’ll sometime =)

Steamboat again?!! =_=”

It seems that I had been undergoing a “steamboat marathon” lately…lols…well,this took place roughly a week ago(3rd February 2007)…Hmmm…no need for an introduction since I have nothing much to say and just move along to the pictures section…ok? Hehe =P

With all the Steamboat necessities provided…heck,even the pink table cloth was included too…and cheaper…oh yeah!!! =D

Upon waking up from a deep slumber…I found myself in the middle of nowhere…far-far away from civilization…deep within the woods…alone…lost…feeling famished and the only thing that I can do in this dire situation,is to scream for…





Panicked and confused at the same time…trapped in this “twilight zone” and have no memories of whatsoever happened beforehand…as I looked around auspiciously…

Looked above…

Tall trees surrounding everywhere…DUH…it’s a forest!!!

Upon closer inspection…this isn’t any ordinary forest…

Mutated leaves with pimples…

Along the river…

Scary-looking haunted tree…with an eerie darkness around it

Flowing water…

…in slow motion?!!

And even…

…some sort of teleportation device? A mini-torture chamber? Shelter for homeless people? Etc…

Wait a second…now I remember…

This is just some forest reserve…cheh…and I thought I’ve stumbled upon a new world…waiting to be explored =P

This place is Hutan Lipur Sungai Tekala…I didn’t even knew there was a forest reserve in Semenyih(poor in geography =P )…

And of course…nothing much to do…yet,so I joined along on this “expedition”…also to utlilise my digital camera,which haven’t seen much action lately…hehe

Being in Semenyih a.k.a. Jungleland…wouldn’t mean that way…unless one really had gone into a jungle =P
