Since today good mood…blogging sikit-sikit lah…haha

Hmmm…eh,apa berlaku to Cheese these past few days? Actually,nothing much to report lor…or maybe there are things not meant to be told in…Tales from a Cheese…? =_=” Well,I am doing ok…kuaaaaaa…as mentioned from Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa…Hakuna Matata,geh?

Ah yes…attended this year’s Malaysia International Fireworks Competition(MIFC 08) in Putrajaya…which was free admission this time around,hehe…

Since was there early(really-really too early)…so jalan-jalan around,well what is there to do in Putrajaya,eh? Putrajaya got Pasar Malam leh…dun pray-pray…ok-ok,the stall owners are just there for the fireworks event only…

As night time comes…people like you and me are waiting anxiously for it to start…

Soon to-be-working Cheese?

It’s been a long time for an appearance of a new post…correct? I see that everyone is nodding in agreement(I think) =_=” Hehe…the “fire” is slowly dying ler…but haven’t been put out yet,no worries…just that sometimes I feel like adding more “firewood” or not only…so nowadays very seldom lor(price of firewood increase ke?!! =_=” )

Previously was working part time…and am still searching for permanent job…now part time job done already,wonder whether it’s a good or bad thing? Yay cuz weekends are back in my life? Boo cuz going to be doing almost nothing and in dire need of cash? =_=”

Actually,sometimes I enjoy doing part time jobs …it’s temporary and fills up my time(besides the money,hehe =P )…most of em’ are event jobs or stuff to do in shopping malls…not really those office work(does data entry fall into this category?)…but of course,can never do part time job forever right? Actually can lor…but rugi-lah my engineering degree...can burn it into ashes,mix with water and drink it…at least I drink it and not let it ended up in Hell,eh? =_=”

Anyways…this was what I had been doing/staring most of the time(working) in 1 Utama…

As a spy at Popular Bookstore? =_=” Actually doing gift redemption and the booth is situated there…sitting/standing there for about 8 hours a day(weekends longer though)…very dead area(if you know where it is) but weekends a little bit more people lalu-lalang there ler…at least can watch TV,no? Pokemon,Karaoke,Jay Chou concert and Naruto was on the viewing list =_=”

Aiyaya…why did I ran to Singapore(refer to previous post)…now got caught and I am back home =_=” Ehem-ehem…why did I went to Singapore? Not to find lions(singa) =_=” but just sort of a “saja” only vacation…hehe...I’ve never actually been to Singapore before(unless you count when I was too young to even know what a “singa” is =_=” ),so can say so that this is a trip to a “new country”…lols,very kesedihan tak terhingga no? =P But bring kawan along ler…reduce the kesedihan…haha

Anyways,this trip was during the previous week,3 days and 2 nights…took the KTM train from KL Sentral…departed on Tuesday night(10th July)

Not expecting to live in some high class hotel of sorts…this place is quite ok as the saying goes “You get what you paid for” and all we needed is a place to sleep for the following nights as most of the time we’ll be out…

Winnie the Pooh bedsheets will surely make someone smile when they wake up the following day…oh,our room doesn’t have any windows…can say it’s kinda like a storeroom…lols =_=”

And now…the “tourist” journey begins…the following places are mostly all those tourist spot that the tour would most likely bring you to…I wont be dwelling about shopping malls cuz…there’s so many of them!!! Crazy…indeed a shopping heaven for the ladies and guys alike…well,you can just ask Uncle Google right? Hehe…

A Japanese delicacy from Hiroshima…Okonomiyaki!!!

Aunty Wikipedia says that it is a Japanese dish which consists of a pan-fried batter cake and contains various ingredients(?)…Apart from the batter cake,other main ingredients are usually pork,egg,cabbage(lots of it!!!) and soba(Japanese noodle)…of course the Okonomiyaki sauce as well…I ordered the Ikaten Okonomiyaki(Ikaten = squid cracker)

This restaurant is located at Low Yat Plaza(a place that I had no intention of having a meal other than to purchase computer goods)…

Actually,there was an exact identical restaurant such as this(or maybe Okonomiyaki restaurants are meant to look like this? =_=” )…located in a small-scaled shopping complex(Atria Shopping Centre) nearby my secondary school in Damansara Jaya…While I was shopping/walking pass by/lepak-ing,I had always wanted to try it…but in the end didn’t mange to do so cuz after quite some time,the restaurant had closed down(or maybe moved…to Low Yat Plaza? =_=” )

Somehow…destiny brought us together and I had finally savoured my dear long lost Okonomiyaki…and they lived(we) happily ever after? =_=” Oh…Okonomi means “what you like” or “what you want” and yaki means grilled or cooked…hence the dish Okonomiyaki…“cook what you like”(that explains the part of …contains “various ingredients”)…

Should try to order Okonomiyaki in a Mamak…

Malaysian Las Vegas…

After the hot and scorching journey to “Egypt”…the next adventure that Indiana Cheese went to was…errmmm…somewhere cool and high atop the mountainous highlands…could it be The Alps? The Himalayas in Nepal? Brokeback Mountain?!! =_=”

Seems like Indiana Cheese isn’t that adventurous after all and turned into Cheese Bond…instead he went to Genting Highlands a.k.a Las Vegas of Malaysia?

Since Cheese Bond is very kiasu and doesn’t want to drive his BMW/Audi/Mercedes/whatever Bond car that he is using for this mission…spending for fuel…

He opted to take the cable car…

This also blends him within the crowd…environmental-friendly as well(partially though)…if the cable car falls due to sabotage from the bad guys,he can use his “Made in China tuxedo that turns into a parachute” =_=”

Once he has checked-in the hotel…went to the outdoor theme park with other fellow agents…others were doing some top secret mission elsewhere…

What else is there to do…besides,the last time he remembered vaguely of coming to Genting Highlands was when he was still in primary school...or so he thinks

It has been a very long time since I’ve been to Genting Highlands…lotsa stuff has changed ever since…duh…it seems that the main attraction now is more towards the casinos as compared to the kiddy rides and all…not much things to do in Genting Highlands,thank goodness it was only a 2 days and 1 night stay…overpricing of almost everything doesn’t really help much either,unless you’re there to gamble then I guess it’s alright =_=”

Haha…reached maturity age for lawatan sambil belajar to Genting Highlands casino…

But didn’t really gamble…hence the “lawatan sambil belajar” part…Sakit hati leh,lowest minimum bet is RM10(sorry,my gambling standards is up to Chinese New Year only),well if ya wanna win big,ya gotta “invest” big too(or play those Jackpot slot machines…which is kinda mundane and boring to me)…“Pai seh” also cuz when you see others place large amount of casino chips on the betting table and seeing yourself place 1 or 2 pieces of it only…feels like gambling on a low budget,haha

Maybe will return to the casino one day…when I am a rich tycoon/businessman or someone like…God of Gamblers…who likes to eat chocolates!!! =D

After being “held hostage” in Jungleland by my ownself =_=” I’ve decided to go for a holiday trip…I am going to EGYPT!!! Eh,passport expired dee wor…sigh…never mind,if there’s a will,there’s a way…

Go to Sunway Pyramid only lor…first ever shopping mall I had set foot upon,after solitary confinement of about 3 weeks…haha =P

Well…actually,it was an ACE outing on that day…get-together and have fun…bowling was hilarious,hahaha…tak puas hati lah…I want to bowl more =P

Makan-Makan after Study-Study…

As usual,updates in this blog are scarce and also lagging for a number of days…never mind cuz there isn’t a dateline to succumb to…lols…ok ler,somehow there is a self-imposed dateline…but always self-extended =_=”

So errrmmm…today’s post took place on the previous Saturday(NOT 26th,but on the 19th =_=” lagging tak terhingga liao)…it was “kinda in a way some sort of” after the end of Semester 2 and also submission of the BIG final year project with other presentations during that week…taking note that exams are looming in(counted as end of semester ke?) and also there is one LITTLE coursework which is due on the first day of exam itself(ironically,it’s the same module),which I have yet to complete let alone started…hence the “in a way some sort of” part =_=”

Nevertheless,I somehow feel must update this dying blog of mine…before I return to Semenyih a.k.a Jungleland today to “berpuasa-study” till exams are over…in 3 weeks time…studying now is not on schedule…one of the module still blur-blur…die-die X_X

Pushing all the negative things aside…fast-fast update now…supposed to be searching for information regarding coursework,haha…Once again my camera is M.I.A again…so relying on other people’s camera(mostly all are uploaded in Facebook,so that’s where I obtain the pictures from…excuse the low quality) and my 2.0 megapixel cameraphone =_=”

It was for Hi-Tea…a lot of people…pai-seh to take lots of pictures around the place…should’ve done this before the crowd arrives…but our “convoy” were a bit late to due a detour route elsewhere…hehe =P

Chinese restaurants/coffee shops were still closed…in the end makan lunch at McDonald’s…Mamak was another option though…

ACE Society held a “field trip” yesterday(Saturday,26th January 2008)…we went to visit a “prison”…well not really ler,but sort of like a prison =_=” All the way to Ampang we went…

The group stood outside…waiting for the warden…fear was the only thing in their mind as the “convicts” might try anything funny or dangerous…macam drama Prison Break =_=”

Hmmm…sure at the right place or not?

Well yeah…not really a prison for convicts…no,it’s not a zoo either…an animal centre,catering for the welfare of mainly dogs and cats…stray or unwanted…

We were then given tasks to do…but not really getting any “hands-on” with the “woof-woofs” and the “meow-meows”…maybe they are afraid that we might dog-nap/cat-nap by stuffing em’ into bags and selling em’ to China or somewhere to become delicacies or sex slaves…Eeeerrrr…if anyone reading this thinks I am serious,then please go to any shop to purchase some humour(sadistic humour…I think) or some “lame pills” =_=”

Anyways,there was another group of helpers from some nearby school I think…came a wee bit later than us but were given some stuff to do with the “woof-woofs” and the “meow-meows”…a bit not fair,but anyways…“Tak apa-lah”…can let em’ clean the shit and piss also,lols =P (No they didn’t do so ler…hehe…the most also is just placing the meals for the “woof-woofs” and the “meow-meows” near their cages)

On the 20th January 2008(Sunday)…went to Bakerzin in 1 Utama…

First time dining there…for me ler,I heard that the cakes were good stuff…but apparently there wasn’t much choices available(according to the place,they haven’t restocked yet…) and since had dinner beforehand(here just for dessert…also a bunch of diners,9 of us in total)…we resorted to this 5 Set Tapas(Don’t ask me what’s a Tapas…it sounded like some sort of Lebanese bread to me =_=” )…and in the selection of Tapas,the good/popular ones were unavailable(came quite late…can book in advance for the next time arrr? =_=” ) So these randomly chosen/recommended ones…was Ok-ok to me only…will be coming back here again…at an earlier time!!!(Bakerzin for breakfast? =P )

22 Years Old Gals…Xian Ai and Melissa…I made them wear the party hats,bwahahaha…self-made one ler…well,not really self-made,can say it’s self-modified lah,haha…very “pai-seh” leh,go inside a bakery shop to purchase party hats...it wouldn’t be that bad if I purchased a cake and party hats together…cashier giving me the “one kind of look” =_=”

Have you tried KFC’s new Triple XL Burger? Well I had one…to put their portion-quality to test…

According to their “kwa-cheong”(exaggerated) advertisements…it’s for really-really big eaters…*Cheese laughing loudly and almost choked while eating the burger*…Portion-wised,it looks quite big cuz maybe KFC are clever in doing optical illusions by serving the chicken in a long bun…if compared to the Zinger Burger,I think the chicken-portion might be the same(cheaper some more) Also,for RM8.90(excluding tax),the set includes a Regular soft drink and an ice-cream…But,for RM8.90 one can also order a Snack Plate,which has 2 pieces of chicken,coleslaw,mashed potatoes,a bun…not too sure whether it has soft drink or not…depending upon preferences on how you spend your money’s worth lah…

Does KFC serve breakfast meal? Yes they do,just newly implemented…McD had been doing so for quite some time…
Does KFC have free refills for soft drinks? McD does…learnt from Burger King kua…
Does KFC operate 24 hours? McD does…learnt from Mamak? =P

Below are a few pictures taken from random shopping complexes in preparation for the Christmas celebration…your objective is to guess which decorations belong to which shopping complex,by looking at the pictures…some are very easy to determine because the clues are very obvious…knowledge of shopping complexes(interior) is a plus factor,lols…and the shopping complexes that I am able to go to are very limited,so it makes guessing even easier via observing a trend and also eliminating other impossible venues(say a shopping complex in Mount Everest =_=” )

Before you start bashing me up or have the difficulty of controlling your saliva output,just read on…since updates are like gold nowadays on my blog(getting pestered on my Tagboard…haha)…after reading,your appetite would probably disagree…lols =P

Presenting the first ever(correct me if I am wrong though…hehe)…Hot Dog Eating Competition organised by ACE Society in UNiM!!!

The competitors had to eat as many hot dogs as they can…within 3 minutes

On the 6th October(Saturday),ACE Society planned an ice-breaking session to Sungai Gabai…a social event for members to get to know each another…ACE stands for Action with Compassion and Empathy(please don’t mind it’s long-winded meaning),a charitable society which was established in my University. Yes-yes,somehow I joined as a member for this year…probably needed to do my part for charity,ever since the days of high school in Interact Club…

Anyways,we departed from University in the morning…in a convoy of cars,as though we are on an expedition…

Speaking of getting wet and water stuff…I’ve also recently finished watching an old Japanese drama(2005,not really that old ler),recommended by a few friends who said that this show would really make a tough guy cry like there’s no tomorrow…(lols,exaggeration part was by me)…Basically it’s a sad-sad-cry-cry drama…and of course,the curious side of me wanted to watch this show to know how sad it is…

It’s called…1 Litre of Tears

(for those who watched it would go,“Oh,that show!!!” at this point…)

Based on a true event,it tells a tale of a 15 year old girl who is diagnosed with a rare disease,spinocerebellar ataxia…which effects one’s movement and speech,due to continuous shrinking of the cerebellum…throughout the whole drama,she struggles to fight the disease that is slowly but surely taking its toll on her body…knowing that there isn’t a cure for that disease,she still continues to live on,despite facing difficulties and hardships along the way…bringing hope to others as well…

Hmmm…my summary kinda sucks…so I guess you should watch it for yourself to find out how this touching story goes and ends(for a better synopsis,just use Google or Wikipedia,hehe…)…there’s only 11 episodes anyway…I would recommend this show if you wanna wash your eyes without relying on Eye-Mo or wasabi or Extra Spicy Taiwanese Sausage(Wah…this one is a killer for your throat as well =_=” ),don’t let it’s corny title turn you off from watching it…makes you “Don’t take things for granted”…

17th September:

It was the first day of resuming back to University life…and also the day where some of our fellow classmates depart to UK for studies…During the day,attending classes…but by night,went to KLIA to send em’ off…

Returning to “Jungleland” for Studies… =_=”

Holidays has come to an end…and it’s time to resume back studies in UNiM…Hurray ^_^ !!! and Boo =_=” !!!(Depending on each individual’s point of view…hehe). Well,one could self-proclaim their own holidays…as long as they want…in fact,forever also can…make sure you have enough money to sustain your life lah…termed as the cost of living =_=”

So,it’s also the time where my brain is supposed to be shifted in gear for academic studies…I was quite stun/shocked while I was watching anime,there was a certain school scene where a complex number equation were being shown,lols(at least I manage to identify that it has complex numbers in it though =_=” )…biological clock needs adjustment and fine-tuning…time to pick up a pen(which feels quite alien-ish,since these hands had been accustomed to the usage of keyboard,TV remote control,PS2 controller,mobile phone,etc…) and write neat “acceptable speed” words(wasn’t able to do so,during some peculiar odd moments last time…Doctor’s handwriting+speeding like a snail)

Although,this is kinda like a situation where a civilian is suddenly thrown into the hands of the military for combat purposes…nevertheless,things will of course be back to normal…it just takes some “time to get used to” sessions =_=”

All I can say for now is…Welcome back to UNiM!!!(or Hell? =_=” )

Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya: Part 2,Boom-Boom in the Skies

Aha!!! A post which doesn’t require “much” reading…just need to use your eyes to view pictures of the same object,over and over again,lols =_=”

At 10pm…thank goodness the rain had stopped…lights on the bridge(closer to PICC) were switched off…a signal,that the fireworks show is about to begin shortly…30 minutes of showmanship…

Armed with my digital camera and tripod(didn’t knew I had one at home…found it as I was kaypo-ing in the store room,hehe =P )…for here,I showcase my amateur/noob-ness of fireworks photographing…first time leh,apa boleh buat…hehe =_=”

So I’ll just upload a few ones which turn out nice…others are almost the same or were blur or badly taken of course,hehe…

Which looked very nice,with the coloured-reflection on the lake…accompanied by the silhouette of the hill where the fireworks were being launched from…showing everything that is going on…in a single picture…if only a better camera is being used,hehe =P

Experience of a Noob-Cheese in Fireworks Photography:

The difficult part(for me),is the timing of the shutter being pressed when the fireworks are up in the air…at first I used 2 seconds timer(afraid that when I press the shutter normally as Single Shots,the camera might shake a bit and produce blurry pictures…no,I don’t have a remote shutter),which means I gotta anticipate the fireworks explosion,2 seconds before it happens…which needed a bit of luck too,hehe =_=”

After a few attempts of “2 seconds lag” shots…I’ve decided to revert back to Single Shots…carefully pressing the shutter for every shot…and clever Yau Fee did a few shots with Burst Shots(for every press of the shutter…3 pictures are taken consecutively),so just gotta have a rough timing to press the shutter and hope that one or more,out of the 3 taken pictures turns out nice…why didn’t I think of that?!! =_=”

And there are the “char-tou” moments…whenever I zoomed-in for a close-up shot,suddenly a super big firework exploded,out of the vicinity of my camera screen =_=” or when after every shot,my camera would need to show the “Busy” sign(like warming-up for the next shot…since the other fancy-fancy functions are switched on,for night+fireworks shot) and BOOM,goes another nice firework shot being wasted cuz my camera is “Busy”…it seems =_=” Unlike some DSLR users who are “shooting” the fireworks like a modernised machinegun(I could hear the fast shutter clicking sounds)…mine is like those super old rifles being used during World War era =_=” Lols…ok-ok,not that old ler…my camera is more for leisure picture-taking(not professional enough to use a DSLR…or not enough money to buy one yet? =_=” )…click here to view my one and only digital camera(unless my handphone,SE k750i is counted as well?)

Sorry for trying to sound so technical…guess I cant explain that well or in simpler terms?(Or maybe no one actually understood what I had been blabbering about =_=” ) Hehe…anyways,things like these are all about trial&error…experimentation…experience need to be build up…so,I’ve gotta try again and improve as well…knowing that I am just at the “foot of the hill” before I had even attempted to “climb/trek the hill”,I must not give up easily…even the professional ones may falter(or perhaps not,since they are so pro already? =_=” ) Any tips or comments…please feel free to share…I am willing to learn ; )

I should be gazing and enjoying the fireworks in the air…not constantly looking at my camera screen just to know that the pictures turned out lousy after every shot,lols =_=” Next time don’t wanna bring camera anymore…hahaha =P Fireworks must be COLOURFUL and BIG in order to get people going “oohh-ahhh”!!!

Fireworks Competition at Putrajaya: Part 1,Before the Colourful&Noisy Skies

Waiting eagerly for a new post,no? So had I…waiting eagerly to find something to be updated about,lols…But it comes as a “3 parts kinda potong-stim” post =P Hehe…anyways,here it is!!!

As a person who keeps to his words…finally finished my part-time work at Jack’s Place,after working there for 2 months…ending on the 31st of August had never felt any better,hehe…no,you cant see me working there anymore(although you could see some ridiculous stuff of an old post regarding work…click here)

What better way to “celebrate”,than to hop aboard a car with a bunch of friends…

We’ve decided to go and see the fireworks competition held at Putrajaya…on the 2nd of September(finale)…I had never seen actual fireworks for quite some time already,kinda sad case? Haha…and it was raining as we were on the way…unfortunately,there wasn’t a single umbrella in the car too =_=” Reached there early to get a good spot to view…but sat in the car,waiting for the rain to stop isn’t helping,lols =_=”

Anyways,when the rain started to stop(slight drizzle)…went out and took a few pictures while waiting for the fireworks display to begin…

Stuck in the bus due to traffic jam…I thought if I was stuck in the traffic congestion,could at least catch a glimpse of the fireworks at Ikano Power Centre/The Curve from behind the window,seated in the air-conditioned bus…but apparently,the geographical position for the bus to be stuck was beneath the bridged part joining the old and new wing of 1 Utama!!! So only listened to the radio,where our Prime Minister gave a speech followed by MERDEKA exclamations =_=” Heck…last bus 11.30pm,reached home 1.30am!!! =_=”

Aha! Off-day from work on Thursday(23rd of August)…so must enjoy kau-kau…seriously,when I started working,I really-really fully appreciate my days off from work(cuz working by doing the same repetitive routine…at the same place for quite long hours…surely bored till death =_=” )

When I woke up…I looked outside my window and saw dark cloudy skies…dunno why everytime I’ve got plans to go out,surely the weather is never on my side,I better go to some plantation or paddy field to bring the rain along next time =_=” Was contemplating whether wanna bring an umbrella along cuz I am taking the public bus…but after a shower,the sun came out along with its rays of light…Ok-lah settle,no need to bring an umbrella =P As I was walking halfway towards the waiting point for the RapidKL public bus…it started drizzling…and it got heavier while I waited for the bus,covering myself with my windbreaker(which I bring along most of the time since me and the rain are “good friends” =_=” )…Grrr…kena con by the sun…can actually wait at the usual bus stop,but there were a few number of occasions I missed the bus cuz the driver claimed that he/she couldn’t see me wor…quite true since got trees blocking the bus stop and some more the drivers speed kau-kau =_=” %#%@%$#%# Already know got bus stop there but then dun slow down and speed kau-kau instead,what-lah >=(

After waiting for about maybe 5 or 10 minutes…the bus came…I entered the bus,paid for the ticket and took a seat…a few metres driven and the inevitable happened…

THE DARN BUS BROKE DOWN!!! #$!#!#%$!@!^% Wah…very “suey” leh…maybe I should take down the bus number and buy 4D,see whether can turn my luck around or not =_=”

But not that “suey” ler…when I was waiting in the broke down bus,I got a phone call from my dad(he was at home) asking me where am I,since he knew that I was taking the public bus out…waiting for bus + raining = not a good situation…got a lift since he is going out as well(where I waited under a shade of trees and took the picture of the public bus)…at least the bus didn’t choose to break down at some teruk geographical position…like in the middle of the highway!!! What a way to start the day,eh? =_=”

Firstly,had lunch with Wei Sun at Ming Tien(Taman Megah) and one of the stalls caught my attention…thus,I ordered this peculiar meal...

Baso Sapi Asli,Beefball Soup Noodles…my socks and shoes were soaked…I think if I squeeze out all the rainwater,can manage to fill up an empty bowl until it’s full like the soup of the noodles dish =_=”

To any Indonesian friends/readers out there…what’s with Baso Sapi Asli? Izzit some famous brand name? Name of the dish? What izzit?!! =_=”

Manage to restock some anime from her,since she had been downloading em’ while she was studying in UK…hehe =P

And also got this lovely keychain souvenier from Holland during her trip in Europe…shiok-nya to travel…although my footwear were soaking wet,I couldn’t possibly wear it…besides,the Holland clogs doesn’t come in a pair =_=” Thanks very-very much =P

Time to leave…bid her farewell…and off I went to Kelana Jaya LRT Station to wait for another RapidKL public bus to 1 Utama…but the Ikano Power Centre free bus shuttle service came first(was 3pm then…still raining…well more like drizzling)…without hesitating much,I just decided to take the bus and then walk to 1 Utama(to me it’s a walkable distance ler),rather than waste more time waiting for the RapidKL public bus…which I am not even sure whether I missed it or not…wasted money on the bus fare only,cheh!

Having dinner here with a few “long time no see” secondary school friends…

Jom ber-groovy kat Sushi Groove…it had been quite some time since I had Japanese food and also the “must try-try” side of me invoked me as well =_=”

In order to eat groovily…there’s a suggestion piece of information provided…

Ordered a main meal before trying out the sushi(s)…

Tempura Udon…RM14.90 =_=” So expensive and the portion is so-so-so small!!!

Following the suggestion…this sushi has the Groovy icon…meaning that it’s their signature/popular/recommended dish

Dynamite Roll…salmon wrapped rice balls baked with special Dynamite sauce(dun ask me about the sauce,clueless…)…RM9.90…by the first look,my mind thought of Malacca Chicken Rice Balls…lols…Strangely enough,it does taste a bit like it…the rice that is =P Tasted weird but edible,according to the majority of us…

Another sushi…called I Love Unagi…

Wahrao…this is good stuff…definitely LOVE UNAGI after eating it =D Albeit its a tad expensive,RM16.90…worth it compared to the previous sushi we ate

A bit skeptical about the last part of their grooviness of Sushi Groove…

Even their refillable green tea is RM2.90!!! Can buy at least 6 “Siuet-Char”(Iced Chinese Tea) at coffee shops leh…the next time I come here,I’ll just order sushi only…

Somehow…I always enjoy watching animated movies by Pixar…it has that “feel good” feeling,dunno how to describe it…lols =P Even the animated food look yummy…if only the movie was in 3-D,no? =_=” Good movie to watch…so what are you waiting for? Faster go watch it!!! You’ll feel satisfied…with the phrase within the movie,“Anyone Can Cook”,making you dash to the nearest hypermarket to get ingredients for your cookout =)

Now that brings up another question…usually when one says or mentions reading…the other party would be quite amazed and may straightaway have an impression that he/she is some sort of “smart” or intellectual person…a bookworm…a keen interest for the literal arts…etc…

My (almost) Complete Collection of True Singapore Ghost Stories…

I started reading this series when I was in upper primary school…and there were a few times I couldn’t go to sleep(imagination is a dangerous thing for a young kid…creepy-looking eyes of the book covers in the dark doesn’t help much either,lols) The volumes which I don’t have were borrowed and Edmund Loh indirectly made me searched for the latest volume(Book No.16) while I was browsing through his blog,lols…I wonder who else reads this book? Dun pray-pray…Singapore got lotsa ghost leh…afraid to visit there =_=” Fact or fiction,you decide yourselves…but a word of advice,don’t mess around with the supernaturals…

Aha!!! The newspaper!!!

Last time I usually read/browse through all the newspapers that my dad or mum buys…but now lazy already leh,so The Star is my current choice…And I don’t think I had ever bought any newspaper to read…the most is just grab free newspapers like The Sun and Malaysian Today when studying at UNiM in Semenyih…apart from reading lecture materials =_=” Now I am working part-time,I sometimes bring along outdated newspapers to read(no time to read mar…go back home after work,either online or terus tidur =P )

No matter how old I am…yes…I am still reading comic books(and playing video games…and watching cartoons as well,lols)

This is the only comic book that I am buying nowadays…yes…it’s Shin Chan!!! Damn farnee wei…but I guess the cartoonist is running out of ideas already cuz not as funny as before…lols =P I can only read the Malay edition,which is slower to be published cuz dunno how to read the Chinese edition lah =_=”

The previous week,on Tuesday(7th August 2007)…went to watch The Simpsons Movie!!! Hmmm…events seem to be blogged about roughly a week later nowadays…lagging =_=” Had been quite some time since I went to the movies…normally I prefer to be accompanied(minimum 1 person will do ler,hehe)…go alone watch like very sad case liao,haha…Li Jian and Yi Ching came/were dragged along

I remembered watching the series long-long-long time ago…on Metrovision(when it still existed)…now,only those with ASTRO are able to watch it…or else…download lah =P Funny movie indeed,which kept “The Simpsons” feel/humour in it…except that it’s like almost 3 episodes bundled together for a movie-length film

Why it’s none other than…Williams of course!!! Was introduced to this place by Li Jian(loyal customer liao…hehe) and ever since the first dining experience,it kept me coming back for more =D What makes this place so special? Well…

It’s the fusion or combination of Western/Italian with Mamak food…something that will trigger my “must try” way of thinking…lols

Two Birthdays in a Day…

The previous Sunday(29th July 2007)…I took a day off from work in order to have a sort of get-together with my friends(which I had committed a sin by lying that I had other matters to attend to…tsk…tsk…tsk…)…cuz working like a robot everyday,doing the same monotonous routine day after day will surely make me go crazy and might end up in Tanjung Rambutan one fine day =_=” But of course,I don’t do this “sin” so frequently ler…so far this is only once,lols =P

Anyways…we met up at The Curve and walked around,in search for a place to have lunch…

Ended up makan-ing sandwiches at O’Briens…this is my Crambo Club Sandwich…can’t remember what it’s consisted of(I can only remember bacon though…which in turn reminds me of Carl’s Jr. =_=” please refer to the previous post)…It was recommended by the staff cuz I dunno what to eat from the names of their menu,written on chalkboards without pictures…also the first time dining there(if one does not know what to recommend…just tell the most expensive stuff or just simply “tembak” and hopefully he/she gets away with it…lols =_=” please do not follow this “suggestion”),the sandwich was quite nice and filling too…

After the sandwich eating session…it’s time to move on to the next agenda…

Cake eating session!!! =_=” Yup…the other purpose of this get-together gathering is also to celebrate Craig’s birthday(though it’s belated…sorry,hehe =P need to find a time/day where everybody is free)…in conjunction with meeting up with familiar faces once again…killing 2 birds with 1 stone,eh? All Stars Sports Cafe…another “first time dining there” experience…this is my sad-case Chicken Rice(can’t remember the fancy-fancy name the restaurant calls it) cuz I didn’t wanna eat the western food(budget-wise and also not much choices too)…must eat rice(since lunch ate sandwiches only)…some more it’s RM20 something for this meal >_<

Pizza and pasta…where the pasta is placed in a very-very huge looking plate(which occupied almost half the square-shaped table)…optical illusion @_@

Now it is Soup Noodles in a very-very huge looking bowl…the common trend for this restaurant…is to use huge “dining accessories”…must’ve been second-hand goods from giants =_=”

In my opinion…this is probably the most worthwhile dish on the table…

Cantonese Style Kueh Teow…lols…but for the price a person has to pay to eat this there,its a whole different story altogether ler…hehe…

Last few words before the next uncertain update(wah…every update is like “gold” only =P )…errr…we must enjoy our meals…never waste nor rush…for instance,the humble Roti Canai/Roti Kosong...every bite must be savoured…for you wouldn’t know that one day in the future…your regular 80 sen(average price) Roti Canai/Roti Kosong would be…*dramatic+suspense music*…RM 2.00!!!(Or perhaps even more!!!)

Ever since I had been working part-time in 1 Utama…during break times,I would most probably wander around 1 Utama aimlessly(since I am practically there almost everyday till I know how many number of floor tiles are there in the shopping mall,lols)…looking at shops a.k.a. window-shopping,browse through magazines in bookstores,looking at leng-lui,etc…Oh and not forgetting…looking for food =) Which brings me/us to this post,haha =P Just like Harry Potter exploring Hogwarts…surely bound to find something new,exciting and interesting…?

Thus begins a “Perang Tiga Segi”(Rough translation,Triangular War =_=” )…like Maxis,Digi and Celcom…or Manchester United,Arsenal and Liverpool,etc…football fans/jocks,please don’t get uproared,merely examples only,hehe…

Being curious(and hungry as well =P ),I went in to try-try this place…

One thing is for sure…the Burgers here are quite pricey(Heh…and I/you thought Burger King was expensive?!!) Prices range from as low as RM7.95 to as high as RM21.45!!!(Seriously…for a Burger alone!!! >_< ) RM21.45 Burger(Can’t remember what it’s called,hehe) sure is something to be boasted about,might try it someday to find out? Lols…all prices are excluding government tax…

Ok-ok…enough of the financial side of the story…

I ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger(not a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger as shown on the wrapper of the above picture cuz I unwrapped it and rewrapped it again =_=” more $$$ to “Double” it ler) It has beef patty,cheese,onion rings and BACON!!! Sure or not? Bacon wor…tak Halal ni,contradicts as stated by the menu(not that I cared if I “accidentally” consumed any non-Halal food,lols…) Aiyah…it’s CHICKEN BACON(spoiler =P ) only ler…chill-chill =_=” Wow,now that’s quite a number of times the word Bacon had been used,lols…

Size is about roughly like Burger King(Note: Size of Burger may vary as shown in the picture =P )…time to know how the Burger tastes like…

…and the verdict…I am totally awed(cuz I was hungry as well? Lols) The sauce with the juicy bite of the Burger made it taste good(might be even better if it was REAL BACON,lols =P ) Since I just wanna try-try…I wont be coming back here for quite some time,quite mahal for me,sort of like a high class version of Burger King,lols…

To travel to work…I had to rely on the public bus…again…not to say that I cant drive there,but think of the payment for petrol,parking and toll(yes,in order to go to 1 Utama from my place,had to pass through toll…to&fro,RM1.60 x 2!!! As of now,in the future may increase >=I )…definitely not beneficial from an economical point of view…

Although I really despise public transport(particularly buses = waiting = time wastage)…by using it everday(nowadays),I am also eligible to win $$$...some sort of lucky draw to lure kiasu people to use the RapidKL bus service…

A ticket only costs RM2.00(for the bus that I take) and can be used again within the same day(to&fro journey for me…plus it passes through the toll!!!)

So as a wise decision…take the bus lor…can be a potential 1st Prize Winner some more(RM8888!!! 2nd&3rd prize isn’t so bad either…since it’s free money!!!)…although the probability is kinda low…considering how many other people use RapidKL bus…lols…but you’ll never know…you’ll never know,hehe…Surely belanja kau-kau others…provided I win lah,hahaha =D

Anyways…I better not get my hopes to high…ehem-ehem…back to the main story of this post…

My name is…Wait Staff 1,like giving football jersey numbers only =_=” The other staff call me…Jimmy…Jimmy Ooi…(you know lah,Chinese names…How could Chi Ming turned into Jimmy?!! Surname also wrong…missing letter H in the front =_=” thank goodness paycheck isn’t paid by cheque…or else I’ll definitely go demand/extort/rob the real Jimmy Ooi somewhere out there for my hard earned money,imagine me demanding,“Give me RMXXX and XX sen!!!” instead of “Give me all your money!!!”…no offense to the real Jimmy Ooi,ya? Lols =P )

Here’s a computerised “key-in” order screen on one of the 2 computers(no-no,cannot play computer games here like Diner Dash =_=” )…the waiter/waitress would take note of the customer’s orders and input em’ here…

So far as of now,I am not allowed to take orders yet…say if keyed in wrongly,then got mistakes or extra orders,how? Potong gaji?!! We’re talking about steaks and lobsters here…not fried rice or noodles(as a matter of fact,the DO serve those…please,oh please don’t come here just to eat those…better go Food Court or something…) Hmmm…those colour-blinded people a bit susah to key in orders,no? =_=”

This is where all those soft drinks you ordered come out from…like pumping petrol only =_=” No refills though…

Staff are allowed to drink too…unlimited some more!!!(Think Burger King…lols)…so if anyone comes here to dine(who I know of) and want refills,look for Wait Staff 1,lols(keep it hush-hush,ok? =P )…provided the place is not TOO busy lah or else sorry lah,wont be able to layan you…haha

When working in a restaurant…your makan schedule is screwed up a bit…the time when customers makan,is the time that you are doing your job =_=”

Oh and if you are lucky(most likely),meals are provided…cant complain much since it’s free though…but somedays,our meals aren’t that bad either(the picture that I took is on one of the “not so good meal” day)…somedays though…

Compared to the food that the customer’s are eating…feel kinda sad lah =P Likewise customer’s cannot eat the “special food” for the staff,jealous rite? =_=”

This restaurant is famous for its steak(price ranges from RM30 to RM42,for ala’ carte)…there’s also a daily lunch set(changes everday),from 11am to 2.30pm…each day is either a fish/chicken set(roughly RM14) or steak set(roughly RM18)…included together with the main course are complimentary garlic bread,soup of the day,dessert of the day(pudding,jelly or ice cream) and a choice of coffee or tea…Don’t understand what the heck I just said? Then just drop by here and find out…lols =P

Yupz…as the title of the post says it all…the particular event job that I worked for 3 days,had come to an end…which in a way,means that an update of the event would be posted up on this blog =_=”

Anyways,the workload isn’t that tiring to me…maybe I am used to it? But,the tiring part is the journey to and fro…that is,by means of public transport…no choice leh,hehe…

Depressing moments aside…upon reaching KLCC,it’s time to get our engines up and running for the day…the whole crew were divided into 2 teams(8 person per team)…and each team had their own registration counter to attend to…

Now,within each team…3 will be doing registration on laptops…1 will be in charge of selling directory booklets…1 will be doing “crowd control”(think of it like a traffic police during a massive traffic jam =P ) and the remaining 3(which includes me) will be as “back-ups”…What do they(we) do? Well…packing goodie bags,substituting fellow comrades(when break time,toilet break,applying make-up break,when fingers get cramped,when someone’s tangan or kaki patah,etc… =_=” you’ll get the idea of what I am trying to say,in an over exaggerated manner)…and errrr…prepare coffee or tea? Massage treatment for tired personnel? “Ta-pau” Char Koay Teow all the way from Penang? Etc…nonsensical stuff being proposed randomly =_=”

Sorry…don’t really have much pictures to show our working groove…too hardworking,geh? =P And also the exhibition in the convention centre wasn’t covered much…it’s all a matter of company policy…so just use your imagination to figure things out…hehe

Overall,it was fun and a good experience…met more people,make friends(banyak girls ^_^ )…at least earn some cash instead of rotting at home…etc…bagus-bagus…do contact me again for opportunities such as these in the future

So what to do now? Continue rotting at home? Not really…part-time job started already…hehe…will be working till end of August…provided I don’t offend someone/accidentally or deliberately burn down the place/killed somebody/etc…and got fired or something…it’s in 1 Utama…no-no,not the same place that I previously worked in last time(Mwahahahaha…betrayer!!! >=P )…but it’s the same type of job lah(some of you may know where cuz I already told ya)…

Today was one of the rare days that I had to wake up very early…when I meant wake up very early,meaning it is very-very-very early…in my time zone,very-very-very early is when the sun haven’t risen yet,still gila darkness…morning is when the sun is just about to rise,as the skies began to brighten…Why leh must wake up so very-very-very early? Cuz there’s an event job on the following day at 8.30am in KLCC…so today I tested the timing required to arrive there in time,from my place…via public transport(bus,KTM,LRT)…driving is not a viable option cuz traffic jam,parking issues and also still cannot freely use the car yet =_=”

Hmmm…or does it look like it’s at dusk? Hehe…

Besides of determining the timing to KLCC…today there is actually a briefing+mini training at 10.30am…Wah-Lau-eh,what to do? Cuz I managed to arrive earliest by 8.15am…in a way its good(good timing,yeah! =) ) and in a way its bad(had to bazir time,boo! =( )

Aiyah…easy solution…best place to “lepak” is at McDonald’s!!! Lols…opens 24 hours some more,haha…very nice

My staple meal for breakfast in McDonald’s is always this…Sausage McMuffin with Egg Value Meal Set…dunno why,haha =P McDonald’s breakfast starts as early as 4am…

Plus a free complimentary The Sun newspaper…to pass the time…my gosh,flipped through the pages dunno how many countless times(cuz there’s nothing else to do to pass the time…luckily brought along mp3 player,haha =P )…usually I prefer to read The Star newspaper,hehe…

A Perak we will go: Which zoo opens at night?!!

Welcome to another episode of “The Perak Trip that doesn’t end in 1 Post” =P Unfortunately/Fortunately,this is Part 3 only…so from where we left off…after getting BBQ-ed under the sun in Pangkor Island…went back to Wilson’s place for a shower…then had dinner outside…cuz we were on the way to…Taiping Zoo!!! =_=”
Douglas wanted to go there…so everyone just went along

For the record…nope there wasn’t a KFC outlet there =P

With a night safari as well…no-no,not those real “safari” that you see on National Geographic…these animals are kept in captivity and there’s some sort of tram(like a mini train) which brings you around…RM 3 per ride if not mistaken,cheh!

So off we go…take out camera…going to snap pictures…BUT WAIT!!! At the ticketing booth,there was a sign which says that cameras are not allowed…wait let me rephrase that…cameras with FLASH are not allowed =_=” Also camcorders are strictly not allowed…unless pay surcharges lah =_=” In modern times such as this century,show me a camera which DOESN’T come equipped with FLASH?!! But anyways,the security guard/staff said it’s ok to bring in and use…the catch,no flash can be used…(on a side note,in this modern age,digital cameras are mostly able to take videos as well too…lols) Hmmm…should’ve taken a picture of the sign…

So that’s about it…only certain animals are being displayed at night cuz they are active during the night…yes-yes…very “active” at night,particularly the lions though…could hear loud moanings…ehem-ehem…but then at night,cant really see some of the animals cuz its quite dark and only certain areas only has spotlights(for animals to sleep with the lights on? Hmmm…) Imagine yourself walking alone in the darkness,then got some loud violent animal noises followed by a something being broken open…as you walk a few more steps…SUDDENLY…a figure approaches from the side and moves towards you…please don’t try to be Tarzan and just run awayyyyyy…lols =_=”

Oh yeah,the entrance fee is doubled at night…so RM5 x 2 = RM10…together with “cant see some animals”(hiding/sleeping/mating/etc nightly activities…) and also no usage of flash from cameras(if I were the animal and somebody kept bursting lights on my face as though I am a superstar,while I am trying to sleep…I’ll probably get pissed,lols) So if you don’t wanna yamcha at night and got nothing else better to do in Taiping…drop by a visit to the zoo =P

Tip from Douglas: For night shots…bring a TRIPOD!!! Super-super useful for stability…duh

Hmmm…ever wondered why updates had been slow recently? Well,I am kinda engrossed into this…

Hello again…this is Part 2 of the Perak trip…yes-yes,as you have noticed…updates had been very-very-very sloowwww…well,let’s just say that I am being sidetracked to other stuff and throw in a handful of laziness together with it…well,better than no updates right? Actually,at the moment…there really isn’t anything else to be updated about…Hmmm…

Anyways…ehem-ehem…back to the main story…

So the following day…after bangun pagi+gosok gigi+cuci muka+mandi+pakai seluar dan baju+makan sarapan…we headed to Pangkor Island(Aha! Which makes the 3rd island that I had been to in Malaysia,the previous other 2 were Redang Island and Penang Island…yes-yes,inclusive of Penang Island =P )

Greeted by pink vans which are converted into taxis…amusing for jakun people like me who had never been to Pangkor Island before…

Of course…why bother taking those taxis when we wanna take our own sweet time going around the island…so we rented a car…

Drive-drive-drive to a lovely beach first…what good is an island without a beach,eh?

But this area quite deserted…no hunky-body guys and girls in bikini to be sighted…if I recalled,there were a few aunties and uncles sunbathing there…

Ok,time for an update after my Perak trip…Why did we chose to go to Perak? Because it’s Visit Malaysia 2007,no? Lols…well,quite a spontaneous decision anyways…after exams already,so anything goes lah,hehe…besides,can bring my digital camera for jalan-jalan rather than collect dust…So off we went on Sunday morning(20th of May) from Kajang…

My handphone had been a good investment…SE k750i(click to view if you dunno how it looks like)… as I had been using it quite often for taking pictures(when I don’t have a camera with me…since I bring my handphone around more often than the camera)…I still prefer the
SE k800i(overbudget liao,when I went to buy my current handphone last year)…anyways,quite happy with the current one…so far no major problems surfaced yet…for the records,it had sent 2302 text messages,25 picture messages,529 pictures had been taken,etc…(F.Y.I stuff =_=” )

Finally an update!!! Sorry…I had been overwhelmed with courseworks recently…now that everything is completed and also something came up...my itchy fingers couldn’t hesitate to type an entry to be posted up on this blog…I am back home…for a week only…specifically “study break”…and after that,3 whole weeks of solitude in Jungleland(Semenyih)…exam period =(

Bad luck is trying to be my best friend…First of all…last week,my home desktop PC KO’ed…Reason: Motherboard got fried due to thunder,whilst the telephone line is plugged into the modem…oddly,the modem survived though…so no downloading and online session(temporarily)…Secondly…when I came back today,my laptop couldn’t start up,Windows wouldn’t load…Reason: Error reading hard disk…^%$#%&$....it was still working fine in the morning before I left Jungleland to be back home…and also I replaced it about 2 months ago…Perhaps God wants me to stop going online so often(stop blogging?!!) and also to stop watching movies&anime on my laptop? So that I could concentrate more on revisions for exam?!! Nooooo…ok-ok,shouldn’t blame it on God…it’s just me,ultimate temporary “suey-ness” =_=” Using my mum’s laptop to update this blog…the “sole survivor” in this house that is able to access the internet…lols

Anyways…enough of that for now…Eddie decided to have a makan-makan gathering at our place…yes-yes,it’s another food+socialising post…or else it would be some “random” post…so don’t complain,ok? >=P On a side note,at first…they were only 2 active bloggers out of 5 within that house(Wee Kiat&ME)…Douglas has one on Friendster(can be said as neutral blogger lah =P )…now comes 2 more(Eddie&Wilson)!!! Both were “ex-bloggers” before…in other words,their previous blog already mati ---> X_X due to lack of updates…lols…it’s good…in a way…so that they could start anew(in my opinion,so far so good…hehe)…so technically speaking, the whole house are bloggers and don’t be surprise if you see the same topic that is being updated…just a matter of who is the fastest to update the entry first…lols =P But nevertheless,pictures might differ slightly(share-share pictures…but depends which one is chosen to be uploaded)…style of entry(short-short,long-long,crappy-crappy,etc…) and of course,each of us serve different “fan base” readers…haha =P

Not at home this weekend…

Good day…I am now updating my blog in the University’s Computer Lab(ignore the uneven spacings)…cuz I’ve decided not to go back home for this weekend(perhaps the next few weeks as well?!! Hmmm…)…good thing that this place isn’t too packed with people in the morning…hence faster network connection(especially to upload pictures!!!) and not so many “kaypo-kaypo” people around to see what I am doing…lols…

Why am I not going back for this weekend? Well…last minute decision to stay back and finish up some coursework(luckily brought along extra clothings,hehe)…being bombarded with courseworks(at this moment,currently only 3 out of 5 given) when 2 more lecture weeks remained,followed by 1 week “study break” and EXAMS!!!(which means that once again,I wont be coming back for quite some time,hence no updates = / )

It ain’t so bad…staying here(Semenyih) throughout the weekends…dunno why I tend to focus more on doing my courseworks(as compared at home…distractions-distractions) and also wake up earlier too(slightly earlier as compared at home…but of course,cannot be compared to my housemates…I am more of an owl rather than a cockerel..lols)

And also…we’ve decided to head to Midvalley for “makan-makan mahal”…once in a while its ok ler…hehe =P

YES!!! My camera lives again!!! MWAHAHAHA >=D After being put to sleep for quite a long-long time…

Honda F1 Racing Team...I used to support Jenson Button(cant remember which Grand Prix it was though) and a bit of Takuma Sato(when he was still racing for BAR Honda by then…crazy fella,haha)…now no more…just watch Formula 1 only and the occasional support here and there…hehe

Chilis is the place…it’ll always be a miracle to eat at this place…especially during dinner time,which consisted a large group of people(11 in total),where not everyone is there…yet…

Once a seat is obatained…open the menu and order…don’t wait anymore…

Eddie ordered this as a starter…Bottomless Chips!!! =D I was wondering how much we are able to eat this(sadly,we only had 1 serving only…the bowl which was sent to be refilled didn’t return)…it costs approximately RM10(excluding tax) and of course,unlimited in supply ler(unless the restaurant runs out)…one day must try and set a record =P

Here’s Eddie…according to him,the chips are not the authentic Nacho chips that he had during his stint in the US…cuz the ones served here are the cheapskate thin chips…the good ones are the thick ones of course…plus salsa and hot melted cheese dippings = shiok-ness!!!

First of all…another year has passed again…“Huh? What do you mean another year has passed? Put stuff with the fish and wrapped in an aluminum foil…“roasted” on a charcoal fire pit…this one’s Tom Yam flavoured(quite fresh)…I guess they will allow you to catch the fish in the nearby pond(where I suppose the fishes are reared) and let em’ cook it for you…but hey,if I am so hungry…I’ll wouldn’t bother waiting for the fish to be caught so easily(intelligent fishies! =P )…just straight-away order!!! Resist one’s self from jumping into the pond and eating the fishes as though they are sushi =_=”

Just bought an mp3 player,a Creative Zen Micro…though it is old stuff(Aha! Price drop) and may not be an IPod or a Sony Walkman mp3 player…quite worth the price(from Lowyat Plaza of course…haha >=P ) with a capacity of 6 Gigabytes

The shop which I got it from,only has one colour only(can’t really complain since that shop gave a pretty decent offer price,after bargaining)…silver…but it looks grey to me…well,at least I didn’t get some crappy colour =P

Time passes in a blink of an eye…before you knew it or even have a brief moment to zip-up one’s pants after answering Mother Nature’s call…welcome to the month of March …but Chinese New Year mood is kinda still in the air,giving the “Hoo-Haa”s to some people…*ehem* gambling *ehem*…And today is the last day of it all…for this “Ong” Red-Red festive event(15th day,according to the Chinese calendar). It’s also Chap Goh Mei…so if you have any leftover Mandarin oranges(rotting at the moment)…you can opt to throw em’ into the river…disposing and also providing orange “fragrance” to the river…killing 2 birds with one stone in the process,eh? =P

Let’s not deviate too far from the main plot of this post…hehe…Went to The Curve yesterday,to celebrate Michelle’s birthday(well,call it a belated birthday lunch if you will)…Was there early,so I’ve decided to walk-walk around first…

Near the entrance…there was an event going on…

McDonalds was celebrating its 25th Anniversary Launch…I think there was free food…I think and I hoped =P

Some dance/exercise routine going on by participants from Fitness First…

Might be a hidden message to the government regarding the banning of fast food advertisements…hehe…Exercise for a healthy lifestyle…at Fitness First,that is!!! Lols…promotions…promotions

So we came here…guess where is this place by looking at the meals served…quite simple,no?

Well…if it’s a person’s first time here…he/she probably wouldn’t know…fortunately,it’s my second time here…Paddington House of Pancakes =)

I ordered this…Vienna…mushrooms+cheese+herbs+sausage filled with cheese…to view the first time I went there,click here(I think it was some sort of random post…about food =P )

It is very rare to see some of em’(some busy like a bumblebee and some already started working!!!)…anyways,group picture time…

Post-Happy Chinese New Year…

First of all…yes-yes,its still Chinese New Year…but this post is sort of after the whole one week of holidays =P Excuse me for the lack of update…wasn’t in the mood to do any during that time and also most of the time I am at home…Anyways,here’s a bunch of pictures to be posted up…like picking a few to be compiled into a scrapbook,hehe…

Ushering the…Year of the Pig…Oink-Oink…warning,not-Halal

“Year of the Boar” sounded more macho…but “Year of the Pig” sounds cute =P

Reunion Dinner was on a Saturday(17th February 2007)…most of the pictures on that night wasn’t shot by me…too lazy to do so =P My mum went photo-snapping away then…

And here’s the super colourful Yee Sang…sort of an unhealthy version of a salad =P

And of course…after taking a look at it a very-very-very long time…

One just feels the sudden urge to “me-rojak-kan” the neatly arranged starter meal

At the end of it all…time for one big family picture…so the bigger one’s digital camera screen is,the better it is to capture everyone in one shot…or else might have to take panorama picture =P

Jien Eu’s house at Bandar Utama…very empty…lols,ok-ok try not to sound so negative = ( be positive-thinking instead…very spacious =)

It is so spacious…that we could find a nice wall to take a picture,haha…see,positive-thinking being implemented =) His place was the “photo studio”…quite a number of pictures taken there…in other words…cam-whoring =P

And last but not least…must include MY own house also-lah…lols…but apparently,picture had to be taken outside,as the interior was crowded with my parent’s guests
